Credit card details are required to secure your booking only. Payment for all accommodation is to be made in full on day of arrival. Picton Campervan Park reserves the right to pre-authorise your card prior to arrival.

Cancellations or changes to bookings must be made at least 72 hours prior to the check in date/time or you will be charged the full amount of the first nights accommodation. If you fail to arrive on the booked date (No Show) you will also be charged the full amount of the first nights accommodation.

We are open as usual, however rest assured that the health and safety of our guests and staff remains out top priority and we shall be maintaining our our increased cleaning and safety protocols to do what we can to keep our guests and staff safe this summer.

Normal Check-in hours are between 2:00pm - 9:30pm.

Cabins

Cabin late arrivals are permitted but you must book directly with us in advance either online or by phone. If booking online please make sure you include the time your ferry arrives in Picton or your estimated time of arrival if travelling from within the South Island. We will then send you our "Late Arrival Procedures" to the email address provided.

Campervans

Due to our small size campervan arrivals after 9:30pm are strictly NOT permitted!

Campervans:

If you are travelling in a campervan pets are permitted By Prior Arrangement Only however please note we do not allow pets during the busy Christmas holiday period (25-Dec to 15-Jan).

Our pet rules are simple:

• No dangerous breeds
• Must be kept on a lead at all times whilst outside vehicle
• Must be toileted/excercised outside of the park grounds (local dog park within 400m).

Cabins:

If your planning on staying in a cabin pets are strictly not permitted even if confined to a vehicle!

Due to our small size group bookings (multiple sites/rooms) are not permitted. Bookings made online or by phone which fall under this category will be cancelled.

Child:  2-14 yrs

Infant: 0-1 yrs

Whilst we would love to have families with young children stay with us, please be aware that we are only a small park and do NOT have a playground or other facilities or areas where children can play and have fun. We know that children who have been on the road all day and confined to a vehicle need somewhere where they can run around and release their energy.

To avoid disappointment we therefore strongly recommend that families with young children consider staying at one of the larger more family orientated parks where playgrounds, games rooms, jumping pillows and other facilities are available for children to play on and have fun!

We expect common sense and consideration to be shown to other guests at all times with no noise between 10:00pm and 8:00am. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person and to remove from the park any person who in our opinion does not conduct themselves in a decent and reasonable manner. No refund will be made in such circumstances. If you are experiencing a problem please advise us immediately.

Visitors are allowed by prior arrangement with management and must check in at office. Your visitors are your responsibility and must depart by 8:00pm. Visitors vehicles are to be left outside the park grounds.

We have a strict NO SMOKING policy in all our rooms and facilities.

Smoking in all hospitality venues, including bars, restaurants, cafes, and casinos, is prohibited in New Zealand.
